The Punchbowl

Mayfair, London

Want to experience the finest country pub fare without even leaving the city? The Punchbowl is a Mayfair inn bringing a generous slice of traditional British countryside sensibility in the midst of London’s most opulent postcode.

One of the oldest pubs in Mayfair, The Punchbowl has been serving fine local ales and exquisite whiskies to London’s gentry since 1750 and is a favourite of the cream of today’s city society. Recently reopened after some grand renovations, here you can enjoy not just one dining experience, but three. Unwind with a classic Sunday roast in the Dickensian Pub, savour sophisticated gourmet offerings in their Dining Room or, for an evening of true indulgence, head to The Club private room. Each offers its own version of great British cuisine including pine smoked Yorkshire venison loin, rare breed steaks and whole baked Cornish lobster. As well as an extensive wine list, featuring a number of superb clarets by the glass, the pub also has its very own Punchbowl 1750 ale, handcrafted and custom made especially for their esteemed patrons.
