An Epicurean Festival

In our eyes, there are really only three things that define a great British summer:

1. Great British music festivals
2. A crisp cider/Pimm’s/glass of bubbles in the sunshine
3. Whiling away the days with friends and family down at your local pub

Usually, you can only tick off one or two of these off in one go: well, now you can enjoy all three, all at the same time. Because this summer, we’ve teamed up with the fine folks at the Cornbury Music Festival and Pubs on Wheels to bring you three whole days of fine British music, classic drinks and a proper pub – all the things that make a British summertime truly ‘great’.

First, a little about The Cornbury Festival. We’re not talking just muddy tents and cider here. Like the best of England, this music festival is civilised, charming and a very English affair. Tucked away amid the sunlit fields of Oxfordshire’s countryside, it’s a place where music-lovers and families alike can share pies and a glass of champagne with everyone from rockers and crooners like headliners Bryan Ferry and Seal, to farmers and fashionistas. And little old ladies who make exceptional cakes.

To add to this line-up, we’ll be on-site bringing the classic British pub to you with Pub on Wheels. A part of The Epicurean Collection, whether you are drinking a fine British beer, a chilled glass of wine or perhaps a cool Somerset Cider, Pubs on Wheels promise you an exceptional VIP customer experience, no matter what the weather, no matter how muddy the terrain. They even have free Wi-Fi for those all important festival ‘instas’ – because camping out in the open outdoors doesn’t mean you can’t have that perfectly pulled pint.
